Depression can manifest itself in numero
us ways—loss of appetite, lack of energy and motivation, poor sleeping habits and disruptions in one’s relationships. People suffering from depression often experience feelings of guilt and hopelessness; however, many people struggle to acknowledge their depression and see that there is a healthier way to live. In therapy, I will listen to you and help you identify your concerns, so that you can better cope with triggers of depression, which often stem from traumatic experiences. Even if such events happened years in the past, they can still create emotional, mental and physical stresses that affect life today.

Anxiety
Anxiety, like depression, is a multifaceted, common disorder that often goes undetected; yet it can bring about considerable amounts of distress, fear and short bursts of excessive nervousness. Causes of anxiety are numerous and diverse, ranging from a single triggering event to the accumulation of stress over years. Symptoms can include, but are not limited to, headaches, sweating, noticeable heart palpitations, muscle spasms, hypertension and fatigue. People often experience anxiety in the form of panic disorders, phobias, obsessive compulsive disorder, social anxiety, post traumatic stress disorder and separation anxiety.
